MP money well spent
The Province
Nathan Cullen, who according to media reports has the highest expenses of all B.C. MPs, deserves to be No. 1. Mr. Cullen represents the largest riding in B.C., Skeena-Bulkley Valley, which stretches from Bella Coola to the Yukon border, and from Haida Gwaii to the Interior. Mr. Cullen visits every part of this enormous riding throughout the year and does an exceptional job of representing a large and diverse region, while also contributing valuable, intelligent input to the broader matters of national government.
The issue surrounding MP expenses shouldn’t be how much is spent, but whether good value is received in return. In Mr. Cullen’s case, I believe we receive very high value from an outstanding MP.
