The Federal Review Panel is preparing to launch public consultations on the plan but has so far refused to consider the environmental effects of expanding Tar Sands production to fill the pipe. Enbridge has not even filed complete information about oil spill risks or response plans for their pipeline but is pushing for the panel to review and approve their project anyway.
Nathan submitted written comments to the panel asking them to consider the full environmental impacts of the proposal and to demand Enbridge provide complete information to the public before hearings begin. You can read a copy here
