Petitions
Gathering signatures can be a great way to make politicians understand how important an issue is to Canadians. It also helps us to make our case and support lobbying and legislation that we are working on in Parliament.

Save the Point Henry Coast Guard Ship
The Canadian Coast Guard plans to replace the 21-metre Point Henry patrol boat which operates out of Prince Rupert, BC with a much smaller, and less capable 14.4-metre Motor Lifeboat. The new ships would be limited in range, capacity, operating times and reduce search and rescue capabilities and safety services throughout the North Coast.

Stop Deadly Asbestos Exports
Asbestos is a known carcinogen that has been banned in many countries throughout the world. It has claimed the lives of countless Canadians and continues to be one of the leading causes of workplace related deaths in this country. In spite of the proven dangers, the federal government actively supports the export of this deadly material to developing countries. There is no excuse for this deadly trade. Nathan introduced a bill to end this practice but we need your support.

Demand Real Civilian Oversight for the RCMP
In November of 2009, Nathan introduced the RCMP Oversight Act (Bill C-472), which would create a Civilian Investigation Service empowered to conduct investigations following death or serious bodily harm occurring in RCMP custody.
